Stem Cell Research Techniques and Protocols   (1)    (2)

(source: Millipore)

Stem cell research has an enormous potential to transform scientific understanding and ultimately improve the quality of human life. We stand shoulder to shoulder with our customers, taking the lead among reagent companies in its focus, investment and commitment to stem cell research. Our mission is to enhance human life and build value by supporting all facets of biomedical research. To support our mission, we have hired scientists at all levels from labs renowned for their stem cell research and we have increased funding for research and development efforts and collaborations.

Our collaborations with leading scientists in the stem cell field have led to exclusive licensing agreements with Stem Cell Sciences, Ltd. for mouse and human ES cell media and with Axordia, Ltd. for ES cell-specific biomarkers. In addition to several exclusive distribution agreements, we took the first commercial human stem cell license from WARF.

As a result of our investment, we were the first company to release a complete medium for human
embryonic stem cells. We now offer over 300 stem cell products, created specifically for human and
rodent, adult and embryonic stem cell research and proven as solutions for use with stem cells. Noteworthy among our products are the ESGRO? mLIF Media Supplement, the ESGRO Complete? Serum-Free Culture System for Mouse ES Cells, and the HEScGRO? Medium for Human ES Cell Culture.
